The Old Barn is a 300 year-old stone farm building that has recently been totally
renovated and converted into a beautiful holiday residence. With sleeping for 8 (and a cot for a ninth) the Old Barn is the perfect base for a family group or a group of friends to enjoy the many attractions of this unspoilt part of Ireland. The huge open plan main room extends right up to the rafters and makes a fabulous centrepiece to this luxury holiday home. Featuring the kitchen and dining area, it leads straight out onto the extensive south-facing patio, barbecue area and garden.
The TV room with comfy sofas, woodburning stove, satellite TV and DVD player provides a snug retreat.
There are four bedrooms (two of them king size, with full en suite including fabulous power showers) and two lovely twin rooms, plus a third bathroom and toilet. All are decorated in pastel shades that enhance the space and light within this old and substantial property.
The Old Barn is situated on a quiet lane amidst rolling farmland about 2 miles from the
increasingly-popular South East Coastal Drive. This luxurious property is set adjacent to the farmhouse home of the owners, yet is totally secluded with its own parking, garden and entrances. There's a small, secluded cove only a short walk away, with larger, beautiful, safe sandy beaches all around. Located in the heart of the Waterford Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking area), there is a rich tradition of Irish music in the many pubs nearby. Within minutes of the seaside resorts of Ardmore and
Youghal, and the thriving harbour town of Dungarvan, Old Parish has the best of everything in the "Sunny South East".

The Old Barn was completed 6 months ahead of schedule and therefore has not been let for this season. Consequently most weeks are still available for Summer 2003 and at 30% less than regular rates!
CALL TODAY FOR LATE AVAILABILITY
Prices quoted are for the whole property, per week, Saturday to Saturday. A booking deposit, of euro 100 / £100 per week, is required with the balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period. Weekly rental rates include:
- Oil fired central heating
- Electricity and heating
- Initial supply of fuel for woodburning stove
- Towels and linen (please bring your own cot linen)
- "Welcome Pack" waiting for you on arrival
